My name is Jasmin Nevala and I started my PhD project at University of Jyväskylä in March 2024.

I study the effects of low-frequency magnetic fields on plants under supervision of lecturer Minna-Maarit Kytöviita (JYU) and professor Jonne Naarala (UEF).

On this account I'm going to describe my PhD journey, the principles of science and scientific research, and the feelings this journey creates.
